The neon Mastercard® allows for seamless payments globally and online, free from additional fees and exchange rate surcharges.

Please note that in order to use neon, individuals must meet specific criteria, including having their main residential address and tax obligations in Switzerland and being at least 15 years old. A Swiss passport/ID or a B or C residence permit is also required.

You have the option to select from 3 account types:

• neon free: a standard account with no basic fees
• neon green: an eco-conscious account offering simple CO2 compensation
• neon metal: a distinctive account featuring exclusive insurance packages

If you are interested in neon, you can initiate the account opening process in less than 10 minutes via smartphone, without any paperwork. Simply download the app, input your personal details, and have your ID ready for verification (photo ID/video call). Following a 2-3 working day assessment period, your account will be activated, granting you access. Your card will be dispatched via standard mail and should reach you within 7 working days.

Upon opening an account, you gain access to various neon features immediately. Core functionalities such as domestic and international transfers are available for use, alongside capabilities like QR bill uploading and scanning, money allocation through Spaces, investments in popular Swiss and global stocks as well as ETFs, enabling eBill setups, among other services. Security is paramount with neon. You have control over how you log in, with options like a personal login code, fingerprint authentication, or Face ID. Only authorized payments can be made from your activated device using a distinct transaction PIN.
